Hello, I read the FAQ on this topic, however it seems like in the faq it was for rear windows that never worked. Mine use to work, and sometimes they wouldnt work until you drove for about 2 minutes then they would work, then one day they completely stopped working. The front windows work perfectly, and the back ones both dont work at all.. Any suggestions before i pull out the circuit board behind the glove box? |

I recently had my rear driver side window worked on. I'm not certain if you is the same case or not, but this might help. They replaced the L/R regulator on mine. |

I had a similar problem on my 96. The rear windows would fail randomly, slowly getting to the point where they wouldn't work most of the time. I took out the circuit board, found a couple bad soldering connections and re-soldered them. The rear windows have worked every time since then. Getting to the circuit board is a little challenging, and getting the stupid wiring harnesses off of it was really annoying. I assume I'm missing some tool that makes that part easier. And be careful when testing to make sure the circuit board isn't resting against anything metal otherwise you'll blow some fuses. |

Rich, Use the fix in the "tech" section, it should do the trick. Mine did the same thing, they wouldn't work when I first turned it on, then after a couple mins they would work. It only gets worse, then they stop completely in the down position on a day that it's raining. No Fun! Look at the other post earlier about rear windows won't work. That should give you the other info you need. Hope it helps. Greg |
