Hi anyone... has anyone ever had this problem?!?!? for the past few months the fan switch/slider on my 95 Disco has been flakey at best... its been hard to turn on (slide from 1 - 2 - 3 - 4. AND when i am able to slide it... it would require some jiggling of the "selector knob" for the fan to actually turn on... also, intermittently the fan would just stop when driving. jiggling the little slider thing would make it come back on... well now as "Murphy" would have it were having HOT weather in the bay area 90's+... and today the fan wont turn on at all, no matter how much jiggling i do. well if the fan wont turn on the A/C wont come on!!!! has anyone ever encountered this problem? how do i go about fixing it? is this going to be a "gazillion" dollar part for some $2.00 switch? please help, as the forcast for the bay area is HOT for the week... thanks KEN |
