please help. For the last few days, my 97 disco with 58k has been giving me troubles on the highway only. As I approach 50 miles an hour, the engine cuts out until the speed slows then it commences again, similar to how it reacts with the cruise on. Also when I floor it to get it to kick down a gear it acts like a rev limiter is kicking in. Any thoughts, speed sensor or fuel pump?

Thanks in advance for the advice

John

This seems to be happening to alot of people. It happened to me the past month. I just installed a new speed sensor and fuel filter. It hasn't done any cutting out since then. That was just installed it a week ago though.

I had the same problem with my 97, replaced the speed sensor and all was well.

I purchased it from Discount Rovers, Nathan and company are great to work with.
