Glenn, I know someone with a D90 who runs 9.00 x 16, but he has a LT230RC low low gears from maxidrive to compensate and a big lift. These military michelin are the XCL (not XZL) similar tread patterne as used on the early camel trophy (but in 7.00 x 16). Regards. Erik New Caledonia. |

XCL's are made out of toilet paper in the sidewalls. XZL's are much more stout. Neal is right, them ain't 34's.... fwiw- Craig |

I also thought that the 9x16's were 34" (9x2 + 16 =34 and 8.25x16 were like 32.5" , because my 7.5 x16 are definately not 33's moe like 31's . Please splain it to me Lucy . The xl's are different from xzl's , the tread pattern is different and xzl's have more side lug at least as it appears in the pic. PS. There was a message on this board about contacting Michelin for possible xzl's coming over , well I called twice and was told no . But if there was some demand they might be persuaded . Just a thought . |

I have purchased both XCL's and XZL's for customers through Discount Tire. Just walk in and ask to see the Michelin farm equipment catalouge. There are not that rare, but for the money, I'd be looking for something like an MTR, or SSR etc... Craig p.s.- Don't say that you want some for your Rover... Just figure out what size you want and order them up. The less the guy behind the counter knows, the better. As far as he is concerned, they are for your skidster...
