I'm hearing a VERY strange clicking sound from my left front hub. I've check and nothing is loose and I'm stumped. Its only when I take off and it does not happen all the time. Any help would be Great. Travis 97 Disco. [email protected] |

When I had that problem it turned out that the stub shaft needed to be replaced. Just one possibility Chris von C |

Check your fluid level in the CV (drain plugs on the side and bottom. I know that after 96 it should have "one shot grease" so there will be a LR sticker or something there, but it is possible there is nothing in there (not good). Definitely worth looking into though before problems become more serious. |

Travis, Take apart your stub axle and swivel housing and check things out. May have a stripped shaft spline or busted CV. Hopefully neither! |
