Truck is starting fine, but about a second after the engine kicks over, there is a quick grinding sound. It happends about 85% of the time that I start the truck. Any ideas?

My friends disco does that. He said his key sticks in the start position. Is it the same sound as if you turn your key to the start position when it's running?
