Anyone know what size bolts are used to mount a rear diff guard or pinion guard in the 2 holes?

You'll have to measure I believe. Some are old whitworth threadforms, while newer ones are metric.

Someone mentioned 5/16 BSF somewhere, but I can't remember for which year (D1 or D2).
