Is there any way a speedometer can be ajusted after changing to a larger tire size?

Is this for a Disco 1 or 2? from what I've read here, a Disco 1 will be spot on AFTER you put larger (31 inch) tires on. In stock form, your speedometer is off by 6%, I think. I'm not sure if that's 6% faster or slower.

I put 265/75s on my Disco 1 and according to my GPS it seems almost 10% off. Is there any fix?

I am almost certain that there are shops that have the equipment to re-calibrate your speedometer. Maybe somebody else can jump in and help. On another note, is the performance decrease really noticable with those 32 inch tires?

I just put 265/75/16 on my 95 Disoc. I didn't notice much difference. I have a 5 speed manual, perhaps automatics are affected differently.

I checked out getting my speedo adjusted in my DII. My dealer referred me to a local shop that does it. Something like $150 just to look at it, and somthing like $600 to get it fixed.
If you look on the 'net, you can find boxes that sit in-line from the wheel speed sensor, and adjust it for you.
