The door does lock, but only manually. The auto lock function is not working for the rear passenger door only. All others are working fine. I suppose it's something simple, but if I'm to open up that door I want to know what to look for. Any advice? http://landrover.mrbaileyshistory.net |

It happened to me this past winter. My problem was that the outside handle was sticking in the open position. The door would still shut but the lock wouldn't work. I pryed the handle back down and cleaned and lubed it up until it moved freely. After that it was fine. Not sure if that's what it is with yours. |

I had the same problem on a Disco I in the past. After some days with a non working rear door locking and before removing and checking rear door unit the central locking fuse blows up. After changing this fuse rear door locking was start working again. It's a little strange but it's true, so before removing the unit replace the fuse... |
