Does anyone know or have any ideas on how to repair the teflon washer that attaches the power window motor to the window channel. My washer broke and now my windows cant roll up. I rigged to stay closed but I would like to fix it. Thanks Charles San Antonio |

Does this sound like what your problem might be? http://www.discoweb.org/rearwindowregulator/index.htm |

When I fixed mine, I used a metal glide with a rubber center, which just popped over the rivet. That way I'm not replacing it with another plastic part that is bound to fail again at some point down the road. I found my part in the "HELP" section of the auto parts store. It was a completely unrelated to the window regulator part. |

Charles, it was a piece of cake. JP, I just went to Lowes and browsed through their drawers of washers and nuts. I bought many different kinds and tried until one fit. I think the way Alyssa went sounds good too. Let me know if you have any questions! Ken |

I'm about to go thru this process w/ the front driver's window. I have a copy of the Shop Manual but would appreciate any input from someone who's done this up front (special tools, things to watch out for, part that worked good as a new guide, etc). advTHANKSance!!!
