Where is a good place to pick up replacement parts for the front bumper? I clipped the fence next to my drive way and screwed up the plastic bumper cap on the passenger side and also broke off the headlight washer spout. I have a 99 Disco series 1. Thanks.

Thanks again for the info. I just got two front bumper caps for $48 + tax at Roverconnection.com. It shouldn't be to hard to replace them should it?

This is the wrong section, but I have a D1 (1995) and two pristine caps (left / right) - find the best price online plus shipping and I'll beat it.

Cheers,

Erik,

I wish you had chimed in sooner. I have already ordered them. Roverconnection.com had both of them for $54 including shipping. However, I do need another headlight spray. Do you happen to have one of those? But can count on your help if I need it when it come to installing them? I know they seem pretty simple to install but I am quite the novice. Plus there was some bumper bending. Any ideas on how to straighten it out? It's not major, probably about a half inch. The best option I have found so far is to pull it. That seems to work, slowly but surely. Thanks.

New question. I have replaced the old bumper caps with the new one and boy was that easy. 15 mins and voila!! My new question is: while I was under the truck installing the new bumper caps I noticed a white electrical plug. Is that a plug for the foglights. My 99 Disco 1 SD doesn't have foglights. But if it is pre-wired for them all I would have to do is replace the air dam to one with foglight holes right? Thanks.

Mike,

If you get a brush bar then you can use the wires for some Hella 500's. The wire is good enough for 55W lights.
Also I might have an old headlight sprayer. Give me about a week or so to find it, I just moved so I will have to locate it. If I find it then you can have it. You will just have to pay for S&H.
Email me.
