I have had acouple instances where my 96 disco will turn over but wont start at all. After putting trans into N then back into park, and turning key off it starts right up. My question is, I know it is related to either the trans interlock switch or the start inhibitor switch, which I think is also the reverse light switch, but which one?? If anyone has had this problem please let me know where to look first, It really isn't a huge problem yet, but I have a feeling it will only get worse, not better. Thanks in advance,SMcD |

if you have the problem again, wiggle the control stick a bit, first side to side then back and forth. if that allows you to start then i would gamble on the tranny safety switch. if not and its not as likely it is in your interlock (brake interlock). this is just IMHO |
