I live in the middle east and own a Tdi automatic. Frequently i go out into the desert and have a lot of fun. however I have had on a number of occasions a problem with the temperature of my hydraulic transmission fluid. I have checked the level etc. All OK. But i noticed that the exchanger for the trans fluid is seperate from the exchanger that cools the motor and relies on natural draft instead of the forced draft for the motor exchanger. what to do? Is it easy to install a temp indication?
