I was wondering what some of you have used to cut the hole in your fender and did you have to remove the trim (inside and out) on the windshield pillar in order to get the other bolts installed on the top portion of the snorkel. Also, any advice on install tricks? I haven't gotten it yet but, I'm getting ready to and I'm trying to find out just how much of a PITA the install will or won't be. |

You have to remove the fender liner but thats about the worst of it. The pillar just needs some holes drilled... Kyle |

I used a Dremel with the round cut off discs to make the hole. The instructions say a hole saw, but for one that big, its costly and actually, I think you'd need two as the inner hole is smaller. Why invest in two $15+ hole saws that you arent going to use again. I've put three snorkels on three of my rides and used a hole saw the first time, and a dremel the other times. Wasnt a PITA in my opinion, only 'hard' part was finishing up and getting the airbox in its new location, which really wasnt hard, but took more time then it should have. |

Yeah the dremel cuts through the aluminum like a knife through butter |

Ya, I know that.. I have done plenty of trimming on my fenders with a dremel so far. |
