Drivers side door detent 99 Disco 1

Author Message   Eric Posted on Saturday, June 15, 2002 - 02:04 pm:    I own a 99 Disco 1 with around 60k miles. The driver's side front door detent no longer keeps the door from flying wide open. This is not a problem for me... but for the cars who picked a bad spot to be in when I'm looking for a parking space. I'm fairly mechanical and can fix most things. Is this a hard thing to do, or is it like a Rubics Cube? Anyone ever done it? What parts are needed? Special tools etc. Eric
