Does anyone have a recommendation for the best power steering fluid to put in a Discovery?

Thanks in advance.

ATF Dextron II/III

Sythetic actually might be worth it as that poor system sees a lot of stress and heat.

Which brand, specifically, should I purchase?

Thanks again...

You guys think too much.

Yes, just cruise into pep boys or NAPA and say, I would like some ATF. Any brand will do. Most of the synthetics meet dextron III and Type F so they are universal. The cheapies it is either dextron OR Type F.

Mobil One is most likey what you will fine as far as synthetics. Personally I just use valvoline synthetic blend ATF. Somehow I think the full synthetic will make it leak more :(
