Due to tire rubbing (thats the excuse I am giving my fiancee), I want to upgrade the stock suspension on my 97 D1. I'd like a bit more clearence and better offroad/onroad performence. There seems to be 2 choices:
*LR HD shocks with Bilsteins
*OME Medium springs and shocks
I think they both give me about an extra 1.5inches.
I dont plan on getting a HD bumper or winch and I have been told that the HD OME's will be a bit too rough...

Comments/Suggestions?
Thanks!

LR HD shocks won't give you much if any lift. And I think the OME's are cheaper anyway. But as Eric said also give Jonn a call at Rovertym

Will do, thanks for the contact. If anyone else has had an opinion (experience) on OME v. LR HD shocks/Bilsteins, please chime in. If you prefer OME, should I go Medium or heavy duty?

Thanks

I am pleased with my CB lift from Rover Tym, however, I did not experience the life changing epiphany when I installed the Bilsteins.

when you speak wiht John at RT, he will likely give you a quick primer on spring rates, vehicle weights and driving habits before suggesting a spring.
