I recently had posted issues regarding a rough idle/surging/sputtering after changing out my plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. The engine runs fine now when I'm moving, but when I first start it up, it still does the same rough idle/surge/sputtering for about 30-60 seconds afterwhich it idles a bit rough, but tolerable. I used Bosch platinum plugs, Beck/Arnley wires, cap, and rotor. |

Henry, I have a 96 Disco and experience the same thing as you described. Especially if I rev the engine just a bit just after starting, it acts pretty rough, but once you get rolling, not a problem. I used Bosch Platinum as well, hopefully that isn't the problem because changing those back plugs sucked Take care.. rs |
