I need to know how hard is it to install Coil Spring Spacers from Rovertym on a D1. I already have OME springs and shocks on. BTW I 'm a mechanical novice. Britt |

Well, the rears will require you to have longer bolts for the spring retainers on the lower perch. If you buy 1" spacers, you'll need bolts 1" longer than stock (whatever that is - I think 1 1/2" is what they are stock). Follow the instructions in the tech section and mount the rear spacer. The fronts will be harder for you since they involve removal of the shocks and shock turrets. You also have to make spring retainers for the front. I'm planning on adding the rear spacers in 1" height to may RTE 2" HD springs since. Ron Ward |
