Hello all, I'm about 300 miles from home and today while out on a job the Disco wouldn't start. At first, no turning over period, then when it began to turn over it acted as if it wasn't going to start. I sat and thought about the first problem, and applied my brakes before attempting to start. At first, it took about 2/3 seconds holding the key over, then takeoff. It worked just fine. I later had it parked elsewhere and same scenario, held the key and it decided to start trying to turn over. Then, once it did start trying, it acted as if it didn't want to start, and it took like 3 tries at cranking to get it to going. I'm thinking the first problem has to do with the switch? that controls the ignition from starting without the brake being applied. I'm sorry for that long rambling piece of info but I'm really operating on zero sleep here. If anyone has any info that could help me remedy this from happening again, please advise. Also, on a lighter note, if anyone knows of any trails in the Birmingham, AL area let me know as I'd like to bring some AL mud home with me.. Take care and thanks in advance.. RS |
