Struts or steering damper?

Author Message   Ryan Lawrence Posted on Sunday, February 24, 2002 - 06:52 pm:    I was driving down the highway the other day and after I hit a bump the front wheels began to shake like I had a flat tire. When I checked, the tires were fine. It only happens when I travel above 70 on bad highway. Decent roads are fine. I just replaced my steering damper, and it was fine before I did. I'm just wondering could I have not installed it correctly, or does it sound like something else?
