Hello, I just installed a OME suspension on my 2001 DII & used John Lee's directions off of EE. I removed the front sway bar, is this a good idea or should I re-attach it due to body lean on the road ? I was also thinking about quick disconnects for the sway bar. Thanks, Brian |

Drive it and see how you like it. The OME springs are stiffer than stock. It boils down to personal preference. |

in november i put the OME HD kit on my '02 D2 and last month i removed both sway bars. i drive it in the mountains quite often so i have a chance to test out the lean regularly. there is some slight extra lean, but not much. i can live with it. mike holmes |

You're going to notice the "sway" most on tight, fast turns and highway driving. (At least that's where I've noticed it on my D I.) Most people get used to it. (I am.) But as someone once put it, quick disconnects give you the best of both worlds. |

Thanks for the help. I will try it without the sway bars & see how it feels. Thanks, Brian |
