Hello,
I just installed a OME suspension on my 2001 DII & used John Lee's directions off of EE. I removed the front sway bar, is this a good idea or should I re-attach it due to body lean on the road ?
I was also thinking about quick disconnects for the sway bar.
Thanks,
Brian

Drive it and see how you like it. The OME springs are stiffer than stock. It boils down to personal preference.

in november i put the OME HD kit on my '02 D2 and last month i removed both sway bars. i drive it in the mountains quite often so i have a chance to test out the lean regularly. there is some slight extra lean, but not much. i can live with it.

You're going to notice the "sway" most on tight, fast turns and highway driving. (At least that's where I've noticed it on my D I.)

Most people get used to it. (I am.) But as someone once put it, quick disconnects give you the best of both worlds.

Thanks for the help. I will try it without the sway bars & see how it feels.
Thanks,
Brian
