Looks like the seal on the inner lip of the passenger side rear door some how broke and some bubbles in the paint have started to appear around the edge(you can see them on the outside) and on the lower portion of the passenger rear door on the wheel arc. I sealed up the crack in the seal on the inside with clear silicone. Is there anything else I could do to prevent the spread of these bubbles? Thanks- Matt |

I pick at the bubbles with a scribe or I like the set of dental pick I found, make sure to get all the powder and corrosion out then if it is steel area apply a rust converter next. Then some primer dab in with small brush or tooth pick next with some touch up paint and fill in the area. It will look like a fill on a rock chip repair. Also if you have some clear coat touch up you can follow up with that... If the bubble is coming from the inside of the door skin and has blown a hole through. Nothing will stop the advance of cancer on that panel short of a new door skin. Rust has started in between the skin and the door frame. Years ago I used to bolt on some magnesium blocks to the frame, long story but it will draw the corrosion to it. |
