i installed a CB in my Discovery plus antenna. i read where you have to tune it, or tune the SLR or something. i can adjust my antenna (there's a pin in the top of it that can be adjusted. How do i go about doing this? How do get the best possible reception and distance i can out of it? Thanks |

Cooper, Go to www.firestik.com. and click on their Tech Help Section. They have all the instructions you need to tune your attenna. If your radio has a built-in SWR meter you're half way there. If not, you'll need to go to Rat Shack and purchase one along with a short(read, very short) splice lead to connect between your radio and the normal anntenna connector. BOL, Chris |
