Hi Guys,

I have a 96 disco which runs and feels great!! what a Rover, heh...

One question, its dashboard has "unglued" from the car (actually the front edge, closest to the windshield to be precise, right now it on a upward angle towards the seats!!

Any ideas how this might have happened and is there some sort of glue or other material where I can fix this and restore it to its original state?

My guess is that this was due to being under the sun, but other than that I have no idea.

Anyone?

Thank You,

Miguel

Miguel, this is something of a common problem on the Discos. Just wait, it will begin to peel out from around the sides next!

There is a factory repair that is available that makes it better, but far from perfect.

someoen else may have better particulars, but I believe if you go to your dealer, they can sell you a kit to fix it. A right-angle drill or screwdriver will help installation.

I just put in the LRNA fix for this. Look through the archives for some ideas on how to place it in. All in all it was pretty easy to do. The only surprise on this was the fact the the dealer here in Austin was cheaper then online ($57 locally).
