lifes busy these days so I ignored the small hole in the frame side of the resonator in my DI. Big mistake! it heated the frame so hot the frame melted a hole in the gas tank. $10 of epoxy later the tank is fixed and the resonator is now gone replaced by a straight pipe cut so I dont tear it off. neglect is never a good thing |

yes I feel real lucky, coulda melted alot more then the tank had the tank burst kinda embarrassing but thought better speak up here and maybe save someone else the same problem or worse to answer that everyweek disco web question "the straight pipe is no loader then it was with the resonator except when you lift off the throttle then it rumbles more.and it sounds a little faster so maybe now its only really really slow." |
