Wippers and light on shifter?

Author Message   jerry quintana, co springs Posted on Wednesday, June 26, 2002 - 01:11 pm:    My windshild wippers wont reset to the off posission and one of the gear selector lights is burnt out. The wippers work fine when on but wont reset and the only move to the up position when on delay. what is wrong? How do I change the light on the shift mechanism. 1995 disco 3.9 auto also I went to new mexico the other day with the ac on the entire time, went 400 miles on a tank before the gas light went on.
