I have a 95 Disco and i was wondering how to change the coolant. Is there a plug on the radiator? Pls help. Mark |

Mark, There is no bottom plug on the radiator. Basically you just remove the bottom hose and the coolant comes out from there. Start by removing expansion tank cap, then take out the plastic plug at the top of the radiator. Be careful because the plastic may break off (ask me how I know!) At this point you may want to go ahead and get a brass one to replace it from Dee. Then disconnect the bottom hose from the radiator and try and catch all of the coolant (good freakin' luck). You can then also remove the engine drain plugs, one on each side of the block, under the exhaust manifolds. That should get the majority of the old coolant out of there for you. Mark Meyer |
