Can anyone give some tips for removing the front air dam and cutting the front bumper end caps for a 96 DI? The wires on the fogs in the air dam are all corroded and I just want to take the whole thing off. Also, can someone recommend a good front skid plate? Thanks Matt |

Goto the tech section and look under **Disco 2 bumper cutting** or just follow this link http://www.discoweb.org/bumper/index.htm |

I just unbolted, unscrewed the center wind screen, then used a marker to follow the "natural" lines of the end caps. Then I used a Rotozip to cut them. It was easy, just go slow. Then I used sandpaper to smooth out the rough edge. http://landrover.mrbaileyshistory.net |
