Does anyone know what a Landrover dealer SHOULD charge to replace a front windshield on a '01 DII SE. Both the heated and unheated versions? Dealer quoted $1000 I assumed that was the heated version but damn it's just a piece of glass! |

Checked insurance and after a $250 deduct. it pretty dang cheap.

Just two weeks ago had a 2000 DSII heated windshield taken care of by my LR Dealer. They do not do the work. It is jobbed out to a local auto glass specialist.
My Dealer price on parts was $475.62(windscreen), $80.50(finisher/molding), $1.16 (plastic rivit).
Labor was $120.00 for a grand total of $656.93 plus tax.
