For about a year now my mates been running a hinged front radius arm on his hybrid landie. We tried it with a steel collar/bush first and that flogged out in about a month. We then used a sealed bearing but that has now disintegrated too. It probably lasted about 6 months before starting to collapse. Any ideas on what else could be used so we don't have to rebuild it every six months (I want it reliable before i but one on the disco) Cheers John D |

How about the 'orbit-eye' leaf spring bushing from AOR? www.aor4x4.com

We have put a stock arm back on for now, but definitely want the hinged arm for trialing and those sort of events. That spring bushing looks interesting, if only I can find something similar in oz. John D |

I have had a hinged front radius arm for about 1 year now, and without problems. But no "trailing", just some serious articulation trails up the sides of mountains. Quinn Dusenberry made my radius arm, and I think he writes about this at www.d-90.com Randall |
