Dustin, Dealer in OKC has been around for awhile. Can't really vouch for them although some members of OK Rovers probably can fill you in. Their url is listed in the resources section. Maybe put something in the section called Rover forum and see what response you get. Can definately vouch for the dealer in Tulsa. Service manager relocated from Denver East LR and has put together a great shop. Let me know if I can help in any other way. Jaime |

I have had my Disco 2 in the OKC dealership a couple of times now for required maintenance work and some recall work. In all cases they have not followed my instructions fully, though it has been simple things. For instance, last time I requested that they do not change the oil, as I change it myself. Sure enough, they changed the oil. The most disappointing thing that I have experienced with Bob Moore is the veiled threat made by the service manager during my last appt, he told me that LRNA would be calling to see how they did and that a favorable response on my part would ensure they would "work harder for me on any future warranty issues" I do have to say they did some warranty work last visit and finished very quickly. |

Thanks allot for the info... I'm going to give them another shot. I took it in last year because every time I took off from a stop or pushed on the gas my disco would just shake and shake. They said it was a bearing in the . Well I wanted a second opinion, turns out it was the u-joints. Hum. But thanks for the info. |

Bob Moore LR is very expensive and they tend to push expensive and unecessary repairs -- replacing parts without investigating the problem. LR Tulsa is somewhat better -- at least they listen to you. You might try BRI Imports in OKC. They are a Saab dealer, but I noticed they were working on a couple of Range Rovers and they had a bunch of Land Rovers on their lot. They give EXCELLENT service on the Saabs, so I'd expect the same for Rovers. |
