Hey there,
Does anyone know how to remove the dinky little factory roof rack? It's gotta go if I'm going to start welding my masterpiece. Thanks.

I've taken mine off several times in the course of installing my custom rack to those points. Take your time and keep your hands very clean - every little fingerprint and scuff will show!

If you find plugs to fill the void left over [on the roof], please include the information here - I've been looking for something to put there when my new rack is off.

Cheers,

e

I found the perfect plugs, they sell them at Home Depot. They have a drawer full of all kinds of plastic plugs etc. Can't remember the size (think it was 1&7/8?) fits perfectly, I put a little silicon on the edge of the holes before plugging it in.
Maybe I still have a few extra, will check and post the size.
