98 Disco, a/c stopped working 2 days after major servicing at dealer. Dealer suggested over phone to put in freon but local shop (that did not specialize in these cars) said freon levels are fine on testing. They suggested it was electrical. Need to find an honest shop to use now that it's out of warranty, prefer the Burbank, Pasadena or Glendale area. Thx. |

Go to Salerno A/C in Burbank. Ask for Frank or Terry. 818 558 7755. They did a great repair on my D110 A/C. They do specialty vehicles, but had never seen a 110 before and still did a great job. Fair, honest folks. My old Alfa Romeo mechanic referred me to them. |

Doug, thank you. They found a blown fuse. Since they couldn't make it blow again, they charged me $45 for the day of testing and sent me home with a cool car! They said if it happens again, they'll open it up and see what is causing the fuse to blow (and will apply the money to it). Appreciate your tip. Hard to find a good, honest shop. |
