As if my keyless entry isn't shitty enough. A couple of times this weekend, and just this morning, I get out of my '97 Disco, everything is closed up, and I hit the button to lock all the doors. Then about 30 seconds later the horn starts going crazy, as if some masked maurader has intruded, but that isn't the case. All my doors are shut properly, so what the hell is wrong? |

Is the alarm actually going off? Lights and all, or is it just the horn. If it's the entire alarm, then it could be a worn wire to the control box, or one of the door or bonnet switches is not catching. I had something similar on another vehicle, it turned out to be a fault on the wire (the tow bar of all things!). |
