I have tried to find where one could purchase an engine adapter. I have a bad 3.9 and would like to put in a 5.0ho ford. I know I have a lot of work but have a 5.0 and an AOD. I was just hoping that an adapter for the AOD to rover transfer case.

Cooper should be able to make one. what type of output does the •••••• hehehe have, spline count, diameter?

I know he has done SM420 and NP435 to lt230s so an AOD should not be too much harder.

Hmmmmm...a 355 Windsor all alum. block mated to an NP435 in front of an lt230. Sounds cool. I'm still contemplating that Cheby engine in front of the ZF auto box.

Well , if he has a Mustang AOD the tailshaft is all wrong. He will need a new tailshaft and extension housing or a trans out of a 4X4....

It is a AOD out of a mustang. I have talked to Timm and he does not make an adapter for this application. I have been checking all day, and the more I check the more I'm starting to shy away from My great idea. I might be able to get a 4.0(which is also bad) and give to a friend. This friend has put Chevy pistons and Buick crank into 3.9's. I will let eveybody know wath happens.
