I bought a D1 at auction a few weeks back. The steering dampener has been relocated to the front side of the axle. The Rotoflex has been removed and replaced with a universal joint. And the rear swaybar has quick disconnects installed.
Are there any other common mods which I should look for on this rig?
When I'm at highway speeds and I hit a bump the truck starts to shake voilently until I slow down. What would cause this?
The rig is a dark green 98 D1 and the title was in the name of a Utah BMW financial services company so I assume it was a trade in or repo. Does anyone happen to know who this used to belong to? |
