about a week ago i took my truck in to get the rear rotors replaced. well i get the truck back and its fine all the way home. next morning get it in turn it over and the abs light stays on. I stop turn off the truck and it stays off. it does it again later that day..next day i reverse and the brakes goe into anti lock mode when i apply brake pressure at the end of my driveway.. these symptoms have been occuring off and on now for about a week. i took it back to the shock and they said that it may be some kind metal shaving near the sensor...they hooked up the brake sensor machine and got all these codes back..they said not to worry about it yet but if it gets worse then i will have to replace the sensor harness in back and the left front sensor... can i just pull the sensors and clean them? is there anything i can do from home to try and remedy the situation thanks all |

Sounds like the shop you took your truck to has to repair their repair job. Was it a certified auto repair shop that will stand behind their work? |
