Or, if you want it to be removable, your dealer can order the black vinyl stick on hood cover.

It's pricey though - around $300

I just redid mine last weekend. I simply taped off the edges of my existing decal, and painted right over it. Spray was a pain in the ass. Took 3 cans of paint and it still looked like crap and I am good with a spray can. So I rolled it with flat black. Looks like a brand new sticker now! All I need now is one of the old school LR ovals to put back on the hood.

I was kicking around having the center part of the hood sprayed by Rhino Liner, any body done or seen that?

I've called 2 dealers regarding this "sticker" for a DII, and the reply I've been getting is that LR won't sell it to me if I don't have a Kalimari!!!

Anyone have a LR Partnumber and somewhere I can order it. Not that i need it yet as I don't have a rack with lights....

Go to a vinyl stickers place (one that puts the ads on the sides of cars for businesses).
Show them a picture, and have them go at it. They will do it AND install it so it is straight and doesn't bubble up like if you ordered it from the stealer and tried to do it yourself.
Plus, it shouldn't be more than $50 bucks.

Call another dealer. I talked with the parts man about the XD decal package one day, they had a whole page devoted to it. Kalahari is probably the same way. I asked earlier this week about getting a front grill badge like the ones on the Kalahari and after a few calls I was told he could order it no problem, would just take a few weeks.

Greg beat me to it, but that's the way I'd do it too. I bet it's a whole heck of a lot cheaper thent eh official LR part.
