I thought that I had broken my axle down in Moab last week but after taking my diff apart I found the following:
1.Ring and pinion in good shape
2.Driver's side rear axle has ground down teeth
3.Cross shaft in diff broken
4.one spider gear broke in half
Just thought that all you folks that were trying to help me would like to know exactly went wrong. Well, at least I have to get a locker now!!!

I drive off road 20+ hours a week. Moab several times a month. I have seen and heard everything. ARB is my choice. Detroit is just as good, just not what I want. |
