My `98 Disco wants to cut off when I approach a stop light of stop sign. It has cut off a few times. I just replaced the battery yesterday and my old problem of the car taking longer to start is gone. But now I just don't know what is causing it to "stall" when i slow down to an idle or dead stop. Someone has suggested that it may be an altenator going bad, but wouldn't my battery light come on, and if i just put a new battery in it yesterday, it shouldn't stall if the battery is new. right? Anyway any help on this would be great. Also if it runs fine at higher speeds would that eliminate the fuel pump or fuel filter? Thanks |
