The disco has marked its parking space at work!
Looks like it leaked all of the washer fluid out. It is leaking from the passenger side sprayer.
Any and all suggestions, comments, jokes, etc. are welcome...

I think this problem start with the nut behind the wheel being loose. =-)

Hey Don,

I talked to the dealer after I posted this and I am taking the truck in to fix a short list of crap that is driving me nuts. Rattles mostly, but it is leaking oil and washer fluid. I only have a couple thousand miles left on the warranty, might as well use it up!!

I told them that the rear door rattles when the stereo is up as loud as it will go. They told me not to turn it up that loud. My reply was, "if I had a knock in the motor at 55mph, would you tell me not to drive 55??" They said to bring it in..

Did you wash your disco after this weekend??

Well at least Houston LR seem pretty nice when we were up there. Good reply to them though about the rattles. I would really get everything looked over before the warranty is up for sure. Will your lift cause problems with the work though? That is the only thing I would be worried about.
As for washing the Disco. Yes quilty of that but after spreading a little mud around the Galleria. hehe
Want to hit the beach this weekend with them? Let me know.

Don

Good more Houston guys - where do you guys go to play in the mud around here?

Don,

I have that same rattle in the back door, does that mean the speaker is blown? Covered under warranty? Its going in for the 30K service next week.

Sean,

I think the rattle is in the door handle (inside).

If you need mud, you could go to Spring Creek.

What are you doing this weekend??

If your not busy give me a buzz at work 281-983-2063. I might be able to be talked into a mud run!

Don....wont effect the warranty.

Sean actually I am from Austin but I am in Houston every weekend. The only advice I can tell you is NOT to ever follow Hanks advice about the depth of mud holes..=-)
Hank I was planning on a trip to the beach this weekend. I was going to the 4x4 area on South Padre but things might change due to the weather. I will wait and see what happens but if things change I will give u a call and make some plans. I know there are a few guys here in Austin itching to go play in some mud.

Don,

If you want to play give me a call. The more the better. After the rain last weekend we can go to Spring Creek or Alto?? I am up for anything. Nothing planned yet. The trip to Alto is still an option but I havn't gotten anything written in stone yet.

It wasn't the depth that got you, it was your entry speed. What gear were you in??

lol

Hank it was not the gear or the speed it was something called a treephrong on the trail and in the way =-) Yes I will stick to my excuse!..I was in 3rd but not rolling fast enough I think. I know I have made it though worse around here.
Then only thing I can say about it though is I think it is time for the air dam to come off. That will happen after the drives on the weekends stop happening so often.
Did you check the loose nut behind the steering wheel yet?

I'm going to a wedding in Dallas this weekend, but I'm definitely going to have to check out Spring Creek at some point. Where exactly is it?

yea, problem exists between steering wheel and seat. lol

And the nick name given to the Rover was the TreePhrog!!

We went to Mategorda this year on a hunting trip and I must have ran over a million frogs on the way down there. The drunks that were along for the ride named it that and it kinda stuck. A more manly nickname would be cool, but you know how that is, once "the boys" tag your ride with a nic, its pretty much a done deal.

If you are coming we can remove the air dam and do the trimming on the end caps at my place with the air tools. It's about 15 to 20 minutes from Spring Creek to my house.

Ok cool with me. Just waiting to see what happens with the weather. If the beach falls though and I can keep the orginial plans of Dallas next week, then I am free. If not then maybe the following weekend. I will give u a call maybe tomorrow with some firmer plans.
Sean.. Know any good places in Dallas to ride?

Sean,

There are two ways to access it. One is off of the Rayford/Sawdust exit off of 45 N, take a right onto Rayford and turn right on Riley Fuzzle, follow it to the end and you cant miss it. The other is at Old Town Spring. If you are worried about scratching a nice paint job the OTS entrance is the way to go. The local Hummer club made the trails a little wider since they started going down there...

If you haven't extended your breathers on your diffs and tranny, you may want to consider it.

If not, take some waders with you to test the depth of the creek. (If you plan on crossing or splashing around)

Let me know when you are going. I havn't been in the creek in a while.

Thanks Hank. I'm going to try to find my way out there over the next couple of weekends. I'll put a post up and see if you are interested.

Don,

I sure don't. I'm from Arlington but the only time I've been up there (d/fw) in my Disco was when I went and picked it up at Don Davis BMW (I bought it from them on eBay).
