Will 265/75-16 Interco TrXus MT tires (31.9x10.5), on AR steel wheels, fit a 2 inch lifted Disco 1? I am willing to trim both front (if necessary) and rear fenders even with the KVT method. I rarely have the truck fully compressed, and I would prefer a wider tire because mudding is not nearly as fun as it used to be. Any opinions? |

It should fit with some trimming. Nothing major. Tom |

YOu won't have to hack your fenders. You can do the Rear Fender Relocation trick. http://www.discoweb.org/rearfender/index.htm |

u can fit that no problem i had 32x11.50 swampers on mine and barely had to trim the rear. i still have my sway bars on so if you take those off you may need more trimming |

Listen, I have a Rovertym 2 inch lift with AR rims and GY MTR 265/75. I am still trimming. You will need to trim the front and a decent amount off the rear. Also had to trim at the 12:00 position on the rear. I'm still trimming. I have a 95 D1. James |

Yeah, those AR wheels weren't exactly the smartest purchase I made, but I learn from my mistakes . I forgot to specify that the 2 inch lift I was talking about is the OME lift w/ N25 rear shocks. I thought that you lose some up-travel with OME springs, due to less coils compressing, right? If so, wouldn't that help out with the butchering of the rear fenders? |

Here's a picture of stuff with OME HD springs. Despite being HD, they will stuff in pretty far. http://www.discoweb.org/mikerupp/C3.jpg |

Mike, That is a lot of flex! Are you running stock Michelins? Also, does it rub on the spring perch? Since I have the offset AR wheels, I am guessing that all the trimming will be around the outer edge of the wheel well. But I guess I could do that 'cuffing' method I read about somewhere on this site, if the tire hits the inner part of the wheel well |

Here are the 762s with N76 in the rear at full compression: http://www.discoweb.org/roumieh/Nadim2.jpg Note that the Wheels are standard LR 5.5x16, and tires are 265/80 16 TSL radials. The rear links are custom and are 2cm longer, and there are no bumpstops per say yet (The RTE cones sometimes bottom out...no biggy). |

Hi Mel, I saw the picture of your L/R and was wondering what kind of mount that is for your jack? That looks like a great way to carry it, how do you like it? |

Sorry Mel, my question was mis-directed. The picture is from Mike. Mike - how do you like your jack mount for your hi lift? Where did you get it? Thanks any way Mel. |
