I am in the process of mounting my tent to roof and looks like cutting one of the rails off to fit tent is my only option ? Rack is too wide for tent to sit on outside rails. Just want to see what others have done. Thanks

Tim,
I have the same tent and have been considering putting it on a adventure roof rack, it is currently on the thule rack. Let me know what you end up doing to get it to fit. |

I have the same tent. Mine sits on (bolted to) thule bars wider than the outside rails. I use 2 u-bolts (with one wider plate) at each corner to hold the thule bars securely to the rack rails. I use wing nuts and they seem to do the job. |
