Good conversation on shocks.. may I flog it a bit more??? I've got my 96 SD (with the damned warning light off now.. THANKS).. shocks are next the front woodheads are dead and gone.. stock springs.. which I think I'll keep.. they're still nice and level.. honestly 98% of what I do in onroad.. This is my work vehicle and I'm putting around 2500 miles a month on it.. Still I certainly don't want to lose any offroad ability.. and articulation and a comfortable ride while minimizing body lean are probably my priorities.. So.. I'm kinda hearing Bilsteins for this application.. or maybe black diamonds.. any more feed back ?? I've also the the stock Michelins on right now but I'm thinking of changing them too.. So any thoughts as well ?? I'd certainly like to pick up a little more "bite" in the goo while not having howlers or tires that wear out in 20,000 miles !! ;) Thanks guys !! mike |
