How hard is the body lift install. I have the jack stands, floor jack, and tools. I have installed OME on my truck (D1). but i have no other knowledge on the matter. Should i attempt to do it myself, i don't have the money to pay someone else to do it. please give me some insight on the job that lays ahead of me thanks |

Installing a body lift is really easy mostly with to people because when you are jacking up the body you can be watching the jack and the other person when there is just enough room to slide the lift in place the other person can be doing that. He can also when you are untightening the bolts on one side he can do the other and time will fly by it will take a couple of hours at the most like 3-5 depending on how fast you go. |

It depends alot on how rusty your bolts are. I'm guessing you have a 1994-2002 Disco so it shouldn't be soo bad. I did a body lift on a friend's 1988 RR and it took a while cause most of the nuts and bolts were pretty rusted. We could not get the seat belt bolts out so they had to be cut by a mechanic. The steering shaft had to be removed and a section welded on. We had that done at a Harley shop. Hope this helps. John |
