OK, did I miss something??? I've had a 95 DI for 5 years and a 94 since October, and I may have just discovered something... On my 94, after I put down the driver's side window all the way down and continue to hold the button down, the passenger's window goes down as well! Is this right? Or is the phantom Lucas trying to drive me insane yet again??? Somebody try it and let me know.... Chuckster PS... I won't even bother asking about the fog shooting out of my AC vents... |

LOL... Man, I actually came out of the office just to try that... I held it for about 10 more seconds after the driver's side window rolled completely down and nothing happened. So, I guess that's Lucas.... -glenn |

Thanks guys... Glenn, thanks for giving it a try, and Disco I've learned to just laugh at little things like this too. I guess that's why they call it the "Land Rover Experience" - you experience some pretty strange things as a LR owner!!! Oh well, I guess I'll just lie and tell everyone I wired it that way on purpose!!! Chuckster |

Rob, I was really disappointed when mine did not do that I wish mine did it too, something to show some ricers that us LR owners have our own custom tricks up our sleeves as well... -glenn |

I tried holding the button down as well in my '96, just rolled down the one window. I actually had my '97 Prelude alarm wired to "vent" the windows if you tapped one of the buttons or roll them down and open my sunroof by holding the same button. Definitely was a phase of the past but man that was some pretty cool stuff. Later.. Robert |

maybe you guys need to hit the door a few times, turn the wheel right and left then back left twice and push on the brake... thats probably what chuck did to make it work |

Ha LOL, Actually, in order to get this to work, you must replace the radiator, do a tune-up, wires, new brakes, new shocks, new thermostat, oil and filter, and a 4-wheel alignment... That's what I did to trick out the windows ;) Chuckster |

BTW... This morning the Lucas Phantom decided to return my window switches to their original configuration, and instead has now attacked my sunroofs. Thanks for all of your prayers thru this difficult time... Chuckster |

I used to have a Corvair that if you turned the wheel all the way to the right and then hit the left turn signal the radio would turn on. Even without the key in the ignition. What's my point? None, I guess. It's friday and I'm bored. |

This reminds me of an old VW trick where you turn on the fan, wipers, turn signals (or hazard lights) and then pull back on the high-beam stalk and everything comes on at once. |
