I haven't been around lately and it seems we have a ton of new members. Anyone in the Wa, Id, Mt area??? I'm in spokane and looking for people to hook up w/ for trail rides or just drinks. Post here or email me.

I would be interested in your experience with the kind of snow we get here in WA. I am buying my first LR and want to use it in the area around Wenatchee.

Joel,
I suggest you get in contact with Matt Moe or Joshua Weinstein. Do a search for them to find their emails. They have done quite a few winter outings. Check the trails section for Skykomish and Wall trail.

I just picked up my first LR last Tuesday. A '99 Disco I. Unfortunately it is stock right now and will probably stay that way for some time due to finances but would love the opportunity to get it dirty.

Well, no sense in trying to find me, I have found you! Regarding outings in the area, we have a wonderful trip coming up this coming weekend. As you might know, the Western Washington British Field meet is Saturday the 27th. I will be in attendance along with many other rover owners. On sunday, as per tradition, we will be going to Evans Creek for a bit of denting after the car show. All are welcome to attend. The show is at Bellevue Community College on saturday. If you would like to come, feel free to drop me an e-mail regarding further information.

Todd, steer clear of Josh here. If he turns right, take a left :)

Joel, with the Disco and a good set of tires and chains, you will be just fine for the winter in Wenatchee. A 'cold climate package' (DII only?) might be good for the longer winters.

Damn. Can't make it anyway. My other toy car is having a meet I am helping put together the same weekend (BMW 2002). We are meeting in North Bend so I am hoping to take off a little early Saturday and check out the All British Field Meet at BCC.
