Yeah, I saw that on the pirate board. I just bought some springs from him a few weeks back, he answered a ton of questions for me and seemed like a nice guy as well, I hope he pulls through okay. |

John was at the Spring Uwharrie and Mike Boggs introduce me to him then.
I learned about John's recent heart troubles this weekend at the GWNF gathering. Several of us called Rovertym last week trying to order sliders. Now I understand why there has been no reply to the message I left for John. How does one "wish him well" ? flat-mail addr ? e-mail ?
I guess we could send mail to his business in Midlothian, VA.

Sorry to hear John is bit down right now, and I hope he recovers. Man those fickle Land Rover customers will run you down with too many demands. |

Medical science is a wonderful thing, and hopefully will set all his troubles right. I don't know him, but have only ever heard nice things about him. Best wishes, John, get well soon!

Thanks, Don. Those are the best wishes to give.
I received an email from John today, and he said he is feeling better. Just needs to slow down some. A regular profession + Rovertym = too much stress.

Jon I hope your feeling better you've always been a great help and I know we would all like to keep you around for a long long time.
From now on I guess I'll take it easy on the tracking numbers and the five phone calls between shipping and receiving.

John called me yesterday in response to my leaving a phone msg request for sliders last week.
He said that he had a "slight heart attack". My response was there is no such thing!
He said that my sliders will be ready in 2 weeks.
I hope he has someone helping him do the work and doesn't over do it... the sliders aren't worth his health/life.

John is a great guy. I bought his sliders (the best) and met him at Roverfest last year. He's one of the those people that is so "real" when you meet him. That's nice.

Apparently he wasn't feeling too good, went to the hospital and it was a case of oh Sh*t your having a heart attack right now....they gave himt a stent (no time to fabricate his own)  |
