Let me start by thanking everyone on this site, I have a 97 Discovery and have fixed a number of issues by reading post on this board. The problem I have now is this� When accelerating at low RPMs <2000 on hot days my engine seems to just cut out, very embarrassing at stop lights and my kids school, I have changed plugs /wires and fuel filter I have cleaned the stepper motor and checked the Mass airflow thingy. Presently I have on order a TPS and OBD-II scanner. My questions are: If the TPS doesn�t fix it what�s next? I have read about the connections to the fuel pump in the rear wheel well but can�t seem to find them.. Any suggestions? |

Hopefully the TPS will solve your problems. The fuel filter is located in the passenger side rear wheel well while the fuel pump is under the carpet in the cargo area (remove the access pannel). |

Thanks! Bryan I was able to find the fuel filter and pump, but I have seen reference to connections to the fuel pump being corroded which might cause problems with fuel delivery, do you know where these connections are? |

John S. The electrical connection in question is the wiring harness on the fuel pump. Disconnect it from the pump and look for corrosion or carbon build up on the terminals. |
